Protective breeds, or breeds with strong prey drives are generally not great at allowing free play in other dogs.  Examples would be some huskies, some shepherd breeds and mixes, pit bulls (Staffordshire Bull Terriers) and pit mixes, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers, small fragile breeds like Yorkies, Chihuahuas, Maltese unless they like outdoors and are over 10 lbs.
